Who am I?jennifer

I’m Dr. Jennifer Bernstein, the president and founder of Get Yourself Into College, Inc. The method I’ve developed transforms the overwhelming college preparation and application process into a meaningful, exciting, and empowering one that helps your child get into the right school and excel once there.

Why should you listen to me?

I’m a former college English professor, and over the past twenty years, I’ve served on admissions and hiring committees, worked as an academic advisor to gifted freshmen and sophomores at a groundbreaking honors college (the Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York), successfully mentored hundreds of students from a wide range of majors and backgrounds, and provided extensive support to undergraduates applying for prestigious scholarships, internships, and graduate schools.

Plus, I’ve created my own successful application packages, which have helped me earn over $60,000 in funding from major institutions like the University of Notre Dame’s Center for Philosophy of Religion, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Jewish Foundation for the Education of Women.

My students have earned admission to:

Allegheny, Babson, Boston University, Brown, Carnegie Mellon, Case Western, Clarkson, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Emory, Fordham, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, McGill, MIT, Ohio State, New York University, Northwestern, Penn State, Princeton, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rutgers, Stanford, State University of New York (Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Plattsburgh, Potsdam, and Stony Brook), Stevenson, Syracuse University, University of British Columbia, University of California (Berkeley and Davis), University of Chicago, University of Delaware, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Michigan, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, University of Rochester, University of Southern California, University of Virginia, University of Washington, Vanderbilt, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and many other great schools.
